For those of you who wonder, yes Luke does smile. He just hates to smile for the camera. That's why we like the candid shots for Luke.

Here Luke is diving on a ball when he is practicing to be goalie. He does a pretty good job stopping the balls. He took some hard shots to the upper torso from his team mates.

Notice the long hair?

Luke is saying he's not playing soccer next year. This makes us sad because he is a good little player. He's not the biggest or the fastest or the best, but he's a good little defender. Maybe if he takes a year off we can get him in some skills classes and then he'll feel more confident in playing again. He says he doesn't want to play basketball, baseball, or football (thank goodness), I think it would be fun to get him into Lacrosse. Tennis is his new chosen sport. We'll have fun doing that, and maybe my dad can help him a little with that this summer.

I bet Luke would be great at tennis! He seems pretty non-confrontational (such a nice boy!) so that might be a great fit for him!
