The Family

Ryan got to push 2 kids in a one baby stroller up the mountain in thick sand. It was so hot! It was supposed to be an easy hike, but maybe that is if you didn't bring kids.

We stopped for a snack break. Someone told us we had only just begun- we had been walking for a long time, so it became our turnaround point.
The kids loved playing with the rocks and in the water.

Ryan was able to fly in for a few days and we had a family reunion with his immediate family. We had a lot of fun. We had a wonderful Dutch Oven Meal, went swimming, hiking, and had some time to just catch up with on another. Luke loved playing with his cousins again, and Livvy loved mothering and smothering the cousins younger that her. Our only regret is that we were so busy and there were so many people around Luke and Livvy weren't able to get much one on one time with Grandma and Grandpa. We'll have to take that into account for next time.
