One night when we (KT, Luke, Olivia, Angella, Brooklyn, and Kaiya, and of course my parents) were at my parents cabin Grandpa made us all milkshakes. My dad does make really good milkshakes, and both of my kids LOVE milkshakes. Grandpa started serving out the milkshakes. Kaiya was very excited to get hers and so I started to help her as she was in the carpeted dining room. (Kaiya is 21 months old). All the sudden I hear Angella yell, and turn around and Luke, the 7 year old has tipped his milkshake all over his face, arm, and pants. He's just as stone still as can be trying not to let it spill on the ground. Luckily he is on the linoleum. He had tipped it straight up trying to get the runny melted part to drink it and it had all crashed down on him. Angella and I are madly trying to clean him up, when we notice that Kaiya, still wanting her milkshake, had gotten it off the table and had done the same thing that Luke had. Only she was standing on the carpet. My mom said that Angella should grab her camera to get a picture. There wasn't time for that though. Kaiya couldn't hardly breathe her face was so covered by milkshake. We started to get her cleaned up, when Livvy took her straw out of her milkshake and started to dribble it all over. Thankfully she was sitting at the table and her mess was able to be contained to the table and the chair. And to bring the night to a perfect 100%, Brooklyn (4 years old the following day) dropped her milkshake on the linoleum floor.
Amazingly enough, even after all the excitement, my parents never even got upset. My mom just scrubbed out the carpet where it had been spilled and Grandpa let everyone have more milkshake.
Later that night, Luke said, "That was really a dramatic time with the milkshakes."

This is such a funny story. I wish you could have gotten a shot of that. This is great. Did the adults feel left out for not spilling their milkshakes? Or we're you too busy cleaning the kids that you didn't get your own? lol
